Skimmer Not working?

    Ok, so I did clean out my skimmer. I needed to wash out some snails,sponges, and crud that has built up inside the main body. I assumed it just had to break back in, but 2 days later and I dont even have a hint of foam. Even competely "closed" I have 3 inches until the water even reaches the bottom of the cup. It didnt take this long to break in the first time...

    Any ideas?

    Are you getting any froth at all in the water in the skimmer body?

    Did you clean your impeller?

    Is the skimmer sitting at the same depth as it was before (try lifting it up a bit and see if the froth starts)?

    And +1...what skimmer is it and how are you running it (in-sump, external, HOB)?
