If it's new it will go away. Did you try to slow down the flow, and did you add any chemicals to your tank?

i tried to slow the flow and it did not work, now it is barely foaming. At first it was foaming good, now it is a thin layer about an half inch or so. How long before the tiny bubbles stop going to the tank. They fill the tank. hours, days, weeks...???

Skimmers, as I learned recently by adding mine so I could re-start my reef, all have a "break in" period. Mine did the same thing. Lots of micro bubbles returning to the tank. It goes away after a few days. Its a sight for sore eyes but dont sweat it.

Wait...is it like completely filling the tank like you cant see the back glass? This would meen something is wrong. But as Brandon said some microbubbles are normal till the skimmer breaks in.

Just thought I would pitch that in for ya.

I have honestly heard nothing but bad reviews on the sumpless skimmer.... As far as bubbles go, how often do you clean the skimmer? Is this happening all the time? Do you EVER get a good skimmate?

Where the water comes back into the tank cover it with a media bag and wash a couple times a week. It iwll stop the bubbles until the skimmer is broke in
