I know it's disgusting and frowned upon but I am completely head over heels addicted to cigarettes. I'm not like a crazy guy that just sits around and smokes all day, but I definitely smoke. Usually less than a pack a day- and a small portion of those cigarettes are smoked at home.

I'm trying to figure out how many people smoke around their tank. The tank is in my bedroom but my house is pretty open, and other people in my family smoke also. I have a pretty serious ceiling fan, although I doubt it "removes" the smoke, as it probably just disperses it. Maybe I should look into an ionic breeze type fan? I also have 2 windows in my room that I could open during smoking.. that is if I don't decide to just smoke in another room/outside.

I actually had a LFS that I used to frequent and the owners/employees openly smoked in the store. It definitely wasn't very professional but as far as I know, they never had any issues.

    Anyone have some input/experience?

can i suggest you smoke outside your home not in it? you do realize the amount of carcinogens that build up on the walls from the second hand smoke?

(i smoke so dont call me a hypocrit :) )

i have an LFS in the chicago area that the owner smokes cigs in his shop constantly with no seeming ill effect.

Maybe take this as an opportunity to quit! Your health and house will thank you.

Speaking of cigarettes, have you looked into those electronic cigarettes where youre just inhaling nicotine. (I think) And all that is released is water vapors.

The that helped me quit was smoking the last cigarette of the pack right before bed one day, then just not buying more. I didn't even cut down too much beforehand, I was still smoking 3/4 to 1 pack a day.

Cold turkey, the way to go, by far.
