So my huge snail decided to crawl out of tank onto my hob filter....

i tried to push him back into tank, but he's latched on pretty good...

how can i remove him w/o hurting it? or are they just that hard to pull off??

for me i would just him off, thats how i always did to mine and they seem to be ok afterward, he should move back himself since they know they cant survive in the open

I just apply constaint pressure till they let go. I had a snail climb on to my HOB overflow, the top of it last week and didn't notice till it's shell was totally dry but it's still live.

I just keep pulling until they let go. I always find mine on the top edge of the tank like they are waiting for the tide to come in and wash them back in the water. It doesn't and they usually are dead..:-/
