    I got 200 snails, can these snails flip themselves over?

    Dwarf Cerith



    Florida Cerith



    Nassarius Vibex



    Nerite Snails (Large)

    Yeah,i think it's the astria(sp?)snail that has the most trouble righting it's self.All of yours can.

    I have trouble with astrea snails not being able to right themselves. I have to flip mine if I see them turned over, if not my hermits get to them.

    I don't think John sells snails that can't self right does he?

    All of the ones you mentioned can flip themselves anyway.

    Mine have to wait until nightfall to flip since I have a wrasse that will try and eat them if their foot is exposed, but yes, they are physically able.

    IMO i would not get nerite snails unless you want your tank covered in white dots. one is enough to cover all my glass (8 gal ) in about 2 days

    edit: the white dots are eggs that DO NOT hatch in a saltwater system
