snails

    how should i introduce snails to my tank

    you could drip aclimate them or just float the bag so the temps are the same. I think i just floated the bag when I did it.

    With inverts I have had better success with drip acclimation. Less shock to them if PH and SG is not the same. I usually drip for about an HR

    if you had these mailed to you and they were not overnighted, just float them for 15-20 minutes and then drop them in.

    They will naturally take 1-5 days before they all wake up - be aware of that too.

    EDIT: when I had 200 some odd snails mailed to me overnight, I still just floated and dumped.
