did a little fishing of the coast of Ft. Lauderdale.
Nicole caught a yellow tail snapper, atlantic blue tang, a 19" grouper, and reeled in a good sized kingfish (king mackerel).

I caught a blue runner, and a few kingfish.

Here's everyone's catch that was taken. Nicole and I cleaned up and caught the most out of everyone, plus the biggest kingfish. Some others caught a bonita and a mutton snapper.

It was a good morning, minus the bit of sunburn we both got ;D.

Then we did a lot of kicking back in the hotel room, the beach and the pool.
Here's a view from the balcony.

I picked up a few pounds of dead coral skelton from the beach.
I might boil or bleach it and use it later. It looks nice. The small pieces I'll use to glue frags to, and I'll use the larger pieces as baserock. It's all light weight, lots of surface area, and porous.

We hopped in the rental and drove down to the Miami Seaquarium.
It was much less than I expected. The Longbeach Aquarium of the Pacific was one hundred thousand times better. The dolphin and killer whale show was cool though, but not worth the parking and admission costs. yikes.

And then we met up with someone who works really close nearby the Seaquarium.

So we all decided to meet up later for dinner at Japanese Village.
Dinner was entertaining, and we had a blast.

Does anyone know this guy??? Karma for the first to get it right.

But anyway, good to be home now.

Yeah, you got it right, Rog.
And anytime is good beer and bbq time for us.

And forgot to mention this little place on Los Olas that had framed stuff of rock bands, guitars, etc... for sale.

For some reason, this one reminded us of ReefSparky.

    Thanks Annick.

You can always tell I'm having a good time by the fish blood splattered on my stomach and shorts. ;D
