    Yea I was thinking he dumped a bottle of API in there or something!!! that would'nt be too good for a cycling tank. lol its better than some stories I have read tho kids dumping entire bottles of fish food... oh man it goes on and on

    The water conditioner will cause the skimmer to fill with water, this happened to me also. You don't need to run the skimmer during the cycle so I would just turn it off till the cycle finishes then do a water change and turn it back on. Also, is your skimmer and AquaC Remora?
