So I'm thinking of adding another clown in hopes that it will pair up with the Percula now have. This is KC's fault,I think she started this clownfish pair thing. My questions are ,1)Will they be more likely to pair up if I add another Perc rather than an Ocelarus? 2)Will they be more inclined to host a anenome if paired? The one I now have doesn't seem intereted in hosting anything, nem, frogspawn,or hammer coral, and has been in my tank about three months. Thanks!! Dave::)

theres never a guarantee that they will host in anything. mine never have. i think its best to get the same species you have now. and yes , youre definitely right to blame kacy. tsk tsk on her. :)

But it's so very true!! Your clownfish lonely hearts club thread made me take a long sad look at my own! Almost bought one today but my lfs only had a few baby Ocelarus that didn't look that good so I'll go back another day.

Lol wow KC your going to make everyone to go bankrupt.
Well if you want them to host, try placing a picture of a clownfish hosting an anemone both of the same species as yours, where he is more likely to see it the most. That should do the trick... ( it worked for me...)

i blame KC for my wanting a leaf fish too. as for the clownfish thing, wild caught clowns will host nems faster than tank raised. but they are less inclined to do better in captivity.
