The red tipped ones with the blueish centers, I got those at a auction by reefempire

reefempire1 items - Get great deals on Pet Supplies items on eBay.com!

    8 dollars I think.

the reds with green tips, got them at the lfs 20 dollars.

The mixed plug with reds and greens at the same lfs 20 also. 20 is actually a pretty good price where I live.

on the very end of the picture you see the browns with the slightly green tips, those are a frag from a colony I got 7 years ago from a lfs, when I started the hobby. The frogspawn in my tank is the same story. Either the frogspawn or those zoas were my first coral ever, I don't remember.

Ok I upgraded the powerhead running my TLF biopellets reactor, I am now using a maxijet 600 giving me a extra 50 gph. Over time the bacterial layer slowed the turn over of the pellets, now they are moving very nicely.

According to my salifert test kit
phosphate is sub .03, it may be a zero.
nitrate is between 1 and 2.5, I'm gonna say 1.5

I got a new bulb yesterday for my halide, its a 10,000k XM. Its pretty yellow, hopefully when my par30 blue led arrives it will balance it out. I can definitely say its soo much brighter then my 20 dollar ebay bulb I was using.
Realize all these pics have no actinics.
    my ora red planet.

    thanks,

    I can't wait either,
that brown frag I originally got(one thats poking out of the rock holder) is actually changing green and its growing much faster then the others.

I actually seeing the difference in the montipora already with the new lighting.

Great start. Beware that when some of the SPS start growing they are going to have to be moved.
