It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I totally agree! For years I thought they looked too much like fresh water fish, but after seeing some in a friends tank I completely changed my mind. If anything happens to my clowns I will probably pick up a pair.

Ok the cardinalfish have given me some strength to post pictures.

I call this the desert view, well because my tank reminds me of a desert. I must say the colors of all my fish(which I think many would describe as plain or dim) look very natural in this setting.

Looks good, you keep winning the auctions and you will have a much more colorful tank soon enough.

Nice stand. Looks quality. Cool frag too, what they call it?

You guys are making me want to go pick up a pair of Bangai today, but I think I may have to much flow for them.

Have no idea, the guy just called it a blue acro. I think its more of a greenish blue tho.

The cardinals are awesome, they definitely fill a niche. Mine are always swimming around the top of the tank.

    The good news:
I got a 10 gallon drilled tank today so I can upgrade my fuge and it will have room to raise fry in. If my cardinals ever breed.

    The bad news:
I got this tank used from a fish store, The owner told me a whole bunch broke when he was taking down the display. So anyway when I removed to the old bulk head for a new one it got a big crack straight through the drilled spot, A big one. I have siliconed the hell out of it. hopefully it will hold water once it cures. Only the leak test will tell.

You may need to get a piece of double strength glass from a glass shop to keep it from leaking.

I thought about it, but decided it would be easier to just use silicone, or buy a new tank(10 dollars at walmart) and drill it when ever my bit finally arrives from hong kong.

anyway here is a mock up of its state.
Red is the crack, Blue is my silicon job.
I used maybe 60 ml of silicon

Buy another tank I think that will most likely blow out on you.

If the bit comes in this week I will do it, other wise I will give it a test run for a long while with fresh water.

I figure the silicone has a good chance of holding due to the size of the tank and position of the break, I don't think the top couple gallons will put too much pressure on that area.

I guess it a good thing I bought those leakfrogs.
