One of my SPS frags didn't really care for the switch from t5's to LEDs ... Frag was mounted halfway up the rocks. I moved it to the sand. It's got good PE Just very pale.

    When I got it ...

That's a fairly common problem. If your LEDs are dimmable, I'd suggest lowering the power to 50% or less. Otherwise, you may need to reduce the photoperiod to 4 or 5 hours per day. Once your frag regains color, then start increasing power/photoperiod a little each week.

It's not gone but close. I just got a piece of Sunset monti from one of my buddies. He pulled it from his tank with MH and put it in his nano with LEDs. It bleached out to nearly white. When I put it in my tank, it was actually brown. For some reason, led's wash out the brown and make it look more white than what it is. I'll be if you put it in a tank with MH, it would actually be a light brown. I would turn my led's down a bit.

They are dimmed to the lowest setting. I had the frag halfway up the rock work ... Moved it to the sand bed. My lights are on about 10 hrs a day?

They have been at the lowest. The frag was halfway up the tank tho. It's in the sand bed now.

Birdsnest doesn't take a lot of light. I'll just bet it was shock. Leave it where it is for a bit.
