    If it indeed is a Hawkins echinata, live aquaria says it cost 80.00 for a frag 1-2". My piece is about 6". I got a great piece for a free-be.

    ORAs Hawkins Echinata is Acropora turaki. And yours is very likely Acropora turaki, but if you did not know what it is in the first place or where it came from, then how do you know it came from ORA? If you don't know, then it can't be Hawkins Echinata. The next reasonable ID would be Acropora cf. turaki.

    All Hawkins Echinata are A. turaki, but not all A. turaki are Hawkins Echinata.
