    I'm looking for some recommendations of online vendors for sps- I have ordered from liveaquaria but am looking for some other suppliers- always hard to tell from pictures so real experiences would be nice to hear- thanks!

    A quick check on the sponsors forums here, will reveal a number of threads by happy customers

    I will not mention specific suppliers, but I have followed a number of threads from people who have purchased from various 3 reef sponsors and many have been very happy with the product and service

    Probably both, for rarer pieces I'm sure I will have to go for frags but if I could get more common pieces in colony I would do that as well. Thanks!

    I have ordered from:

    Wet Thumb Frags
    Reef Empire
    Reef Pets
    Corals2Go
    Live Aquaria

    All of them are great vendors. I would avoid LA unless you are experienced in SPS. Most places that sell aquacultured corals are what you want for the less experienced.

    Thanks for the input guys, the 3 colonies I have now are ones I got from LA diver's den so am pretty happy with those- It's hard to gauge sometimes when I see a colony of maricultured valida on LA for 80 and then a frag of valida for 60 somewhere if the quality of the frag is that much better?
    Anyone ordered from vivid aquariums?
