Thats the way most of us end up having frags for sale. accidental breakage.

in my old tank, the Xenia would gro onto anything it touched and sometimes just took a leap of faith in hopes of sticking somewheres else. grew l like wildfire and at one point coated my entire back glass. it ended up on the sump return and stayed there with the occasional thinning and trashing.

Xenia will kill SPS. mine consumed parts of several Millipora and acropora. if you scrape it, make sure you get 110% of it or it will come back right there. and if it ever touches any other object, expect it to grow there. GSP are the same way.

yea....the one on the purple rock....not sure what kind of SPS it is but I now have 2 frags of it.

The xenia is off the rock now, I rubber banded it to a plug but it etached itself and moved to the bottom corner of the tank....I think I am gonna pull it out and toss it.

If you were closer I would give it to you for free! Its not really worth it to ship it!

I bet you can find someone local to give you a free piece....most people are more than willing to get some out of their tanks.

Good idea if your into SPS,and yours look very nice and healthy.I have xenia in my tank which has spread to a different rock on the other side of the tank just from one polyp releasing from the original colony and drifting till it found it's spot.
