    Might want to throw in some more support braces. I wouldn't be comfortable with it.

    What would you suggest just a couple of 2x4?

    Side question, where should you check to make sure the tank is level? I usually just use the trim but that itself could be unlevel causing incorrect readings.

    I'd put a 2x4 support. Just put one in a vertical position (height wise) from the inside and outside of that side of the stand that is messed up. Should be more than enough.

    Looks like it's on the skin and shouldn't be an issue. Don't quit your day job and go into photography anytime soon though!

    Actually I am a published sports photographer lol. I think part of the problem is I am 6'5" trying to get into a 4' stand. I contacted Marineland through there Facebook page and they had this to say, "If you are going through a side panel and not affecting any of the upright frame supports in the corners of the stand, you should be fine" I guess that settles that. Thanks for the help everyone.
