What type of corals are you planning to keep?

I'm having problems with a light with the same descriptions, only without moonlights. It's a 4x54watts, so a total of 216 watts and even though I have good bulbs, I had to put all my SPS's at the very top to keep them slowly growing.
You may look into a 6 bulb or a metal halide/actinic combo. I regret buying this light (Wavepoint) and would spend the money for a nicer, more apt light fixture if I had the money now.

Are you planning to build a sump for the tank at some point? A protein skimmer is also an awesome investment as far as equipment.

Can't wait to see the pics!

my tank will be for lps coral mainly i would like to keep some sps maybe in the future but metal halide is out of the question i am an electrician and from what i understand metal halide lighting will be no more within the next year or so and they wont even be produced anymore led lighting and t5 setups will be the main stay for a little while until the plasma lighting system is fully entegrated and afordable and as for the protein skimmer i agree they are something handy to have and lucky me the Tom Rapids Pro Series RP3 Plus Canister Filter comes with one built in thanks for the reply on my post and i loof foward to talkin to a lot of the community members
