Hello from St. Louis, Mo. I started my first saltwater tank in the early 90's and became hooked. I went from a 55 gal, to a 75 gal, to a 125 gal. My tanks were a mix of live sand, live rock, fish, inverts, and soft corals. However 5 years ago I moved and had to sell my tank due to space issues. I have since moved again, still have no space for a big tank, but decided to go with a small tank, a Solano 34 gal with a metal halide 150 w pendant. I am so excited to start over and with the mh lighting, curious to see what other things I might be able to keep in my tank. Past lighting was PCs. So I'm off and running with 40 lbs of sand, 30 lbs of rock, and seeing how long my cycle will last. It will be fun to see what's changed in the last five years.
