Has it had an airtight lid on it?

I would air rate it first for a hour or so.

I had a similar circumstance I just dropped the heater in it for a while with an airstone to really churn it. Worked out just fine.

As one of the other members pointed out when I asked a similar question once is that the premixed saltwater sits for a lot longer than that on the store shelf.

If it has had an airtight lid on it, and has not heated up to much or gotten too cold then sure it would be fine.

If it dusnt have an airtight lid on it then the water can evaporate and the salt would stay in it and make the salinity increase and then you could be adding high salinity water to your tank making your tank have high salinity. I would test the Salinity before doing it.
