    I had one for 4 years and it never hung out anywhere except it's cave and he was in a tank with subdued lighting.;) Just not their nature to swim about freely except at dusk.They are nocturnal fish.

    Vinny is correct. they will not be swimming around like your foxface. at best you will see it pop out say hello for 10-20mins and then go back into the darkness. that is what they do. they are not open water swimmers. beautiful fish and a real treat to see.

    Well since i last poste on this thread my marine betta has gotten quite active. Now wheneer i look at my tank i can always find her easily, and she even chills in the front of the tank from time to time :)
