I would put a power-head in there to get some agitation/oxygenation. I don't like the thought of "still" saltwater, but that's just me :)

i was thinking a big air pump and afew air stones would oxygenate and stir the water pretty good... just not sure how much is enough?

The only thing about air stones is that you may have salt creep to deal with from all of the bubbles popping on the surface. I've heard it's a good idea to keep a powerhead in the salt tank, I believe it may help precipitates from forming, also keeps some oxygenation for when you dump it into the tank.

where water particles dry leaving behind a salt residue. in time, this accumulates and is termed "salt creep"
