Strange Markings

    Hi,

    My shrimp seems to be Ok, he is feeding and swimming around, however he has a strange black marking on his back, anyone have any ideas what this could be?

    That is strange. And it appears to be where his brain is.. I don't have that on mine. Has it molted yet? Does the mark stay?

    The mark we think has got bigger, he has not molted yet as he has only been in the tank for a week or so. My blood shrimp molted a few days ago and he seems ok, just a bit shy!!
    He is active and is eating ok, I suppose all I can do is keep an eye on him.

    The mark has now gone, hurahh!! He recently molted and whatever it was went with the remains.

    Just glad it wasnt anything nasty!!
