i'd say the coincidences are pretty high, given the 'common' parts of the name.

I now dread answering the phone, almost every second call is a telemarketer wanting to do research, sell me a holiday, inform me of winning the Nigerian lotto ect.
I wish they'd make it illegal already :S

At least yours would of been mildly amusing.

yea tell me about it i got a telemarketer who left me a long message on my phone saying how i won a cruise to mexico  lol it sounded so real but i knew i didnt sign up for any contest and they didnt even say my name when they said congrats so that was a total scam

lol would of been awesome though if this Parker person would of been a long lost rich relative wanting to give us his money  but still its just crazy, our last name spelt the exact same way, its not a super commen name but the other way that its spelt is used more than how ours spelt it so that fact that it was even spelt the same way as ours was even crazier and the fact that the first name was our dogs lol i just cracked up when i saw that name

    Yup strange phone call.
My last name is very uncommon, in fact there are only 1,070 people in the US with my last name so that kind of info on the caller ID would be strange.

There is a cool website telling you how common your name is and how many others in the US have it....is kinda fun to plug in your own and your friends' names too. The site is How Many of Me thought you all may be interested.
