Stress Zyme

Has anyone used this?
I added some Caulerpa Mexicana to my tank in hopes of getting a head start on my sump/refugium and that darn tang started eating the crap out of it and my ammonia went up to about .25 to .5 ppm I have since removed all the stuff that looks half dead and would like to help out my biological filter to bring down my ammonia. Here's what the aquarium pharmaceutical site says...

Any Ideas? Thanks for the help

I see these types of products as snake oil...I wouldn't trust it to do what it says.
