Stupid fish

So baby is due in 3 weeks so I've been out fishing for the past 2 weekends right, this past weekend caught 13 fish, 10 black bass from 2lbs to 4lbs and 3 sand bass around 2-5lbs was all in all a good weekend right
well one of the black bass i caught got me back towards the end of the day caught him on a rattle trap which has 2 treble hooks, fish slipped outta my grip, got the 2nd treble hook through my thumb, literally through it went in beside the nail and all the way through out the back while the fish was still attached to the other hook and flopping around trying to get loose, luckily the guy i was with was quick on his feet and had some wire cutters handy and cut the barb off the hook to get it back out, but i think i invented a few new words
fish got a good story to go tell his buddies too

 

Ouch!! The only thing worse than a puncture wound, is a puncture wound that pulls, whips around, and weighs down the hole.

 

OUCH! i know just how that feels. was fishing a tournament on lake fork in texas and had that same thing happen to me. sad part is i was mad and chunked the fish, then realized he probably would have won the Big Bass of the hour and i coulda got some cash.

Had another treble hook jamed into my elbow due to a bad cast by my buddy fishing with me. had to go to the hospital for that one cause it was dug in between a bunch of nerves in my arm and no one would risk pulling it out.
