    hello this is a stupid question but i am a little over cautious about being a first time eel owner. my question is that is it normal for eels to not do much throughout the day. thanks
    -10inch snowflake eel that i have had for 3 days and i have feed him.

    Eels are nocturnal critters so yes it is absolutely normal

    Also big time escape artists,had one in a glass covered tank once and he loved to climb into the aquaclear hob filter with fust his head looking out into the tank.He eventually escaped and died.
