my guess would be cyano as well, how long has the system been running? increase flow on the "pink" areas or get a stronger CUC

I have had the tank running for 13 months.

Here are some photos - let me know what you think?

Dose it look fuzzy and slightly hair like? If so it's Cyano. Putting more flow on that spot will aid the issue, as food poop and other nummy particles have settled there and is now feeding the nuisance.
    What are your parameters?
    Are you using city water/RO/DI?
    How much are you feeding?

Just looked close and I see a little hair but not much. I just checked & my nitrates are too high.

Any recommendations besides water changes to lower it down?

I have been using tap water to top off the water levels.

    Thanks!

Changing from tap to RO or better yet DI then you'll be good after a water change or two.
Water change is the best way to reduce nitrates in the short run, in the long run switch to RO or DI water.
