I just got a sump that already has 2 baffles in it but they are in the middle of the sump which doesnt make sense to me so i was wondering if anyone knew a way to remove them without to much struggle because i rather just put in my own instead of deal with the akward ones.

Is this a pre-made unit with molded in baffles or one someone else built and siliconed in the baffles? a pic would really help.

if its pre made the acrylic is bonded and so you cant remove the baffles without actually cutting them away.

ya thats what i was just thinking about. to me it doesnt make sense that the baffles are so close to the middle so i really cant size it with the skimmer.

i think i may cut the baffles so i have more options for a skimmer but how would i go about cuting the acrylic?

is there any way i can expand the sump because its only like 15 gallons and that seems sort of small for a 120 gallon or do you think its ok? the reason why its not bigger than 24in is because i couldnt fit a 36in. how could i remove the baffles?
