Sump Help Please

    We ran a 37 flat back hex with a 10 gal sump and a mag 12 for the main pump on a hong on overflow I made to handle the wanted flow rates But never used a ballfle never saw a need for them . If you plumb the drain lines from tank to sump correctly then ballfle are just in the way .. I use a 40 breeder now on a 180 with a Dolphin 9700 for the main pump and no baffles..
