What is the best sump pump for a 25G sump to a 75G show tank? I know I will need 700+gph. But I'm looking for is something you may have/had that has worked for you? Any info is an asset..

I use a Catalina brand pump, cheap, stays cool, great head pressure.
A lot of people use mags, ehim pumps and quite ones as well.

I have had two, not just one but two, Quiet Ones go up in flames. By that I mean fire and all. One is a fluke but two is bad quality.

It depends on what your head loss will be. Tamm Rio has good pumps that aren't as expensive as most others. I have to Rio 20hf. It puts out 870gph at 6' of head loss. I know AZDesertRat said he had 2 quiet one pumps go up in flames, but I know a guy that has been running 2 for years with no problems.
