Sump question

    In due time this sump will go on my next project, either a 40gal breeder or 55gal tank, I'm just trying to figure out what I need now.. On my 29gal I have a fluvial 50gal filter and a HOB protein skimmer... I just want this sump up and running.. So I need a return pump, and a gravity siphon from my tanks overflow? Can you install an overflow in any tank?

    Like I said I'm rather new to all this, i started this tank from directions from my friends that work at my LFS/ pet store.. And actually I just got a job there too :) cheap fish and rock now :-D

    You can buy what are called "hang on back overflows", which can be put on pretty much any standard aquarium. There a bunch of companies that make'em. Your lfs should have at least a couple models in stock hopefully.
