sump questions

Sumps tend to be expensive. Most decent size sumps will run about $200 from what I've seen. You could just go forth and purchase a small tank (20gal long, etc) and glue in your own baffles. Just be aware that glass and acrylic will not work together. The things that bond to one will not bond to another. That being said, the materials you use will have to match if you decide to build your own. This shouldn't be a huge problem though, because these days you can get glass and acrylic cut to size and purchased at most home depots and lowes.
