That looks awesome. Should draw all water away from the skimmer from under water leaving the filmy crap behind for the skimmer to get. I think a 2 to four inch sand bed is pretty standard in a fuge. I would probably go with just macro algea if it were me. Process's more NO3 and helps remove phosfates which live rock does not. Maybe a few peices of small base rock that wont take up to much room just for good measure since you wont have a DT full of rock.

only the 30 gallon and maybe the 20 gallon will have about 3-4 pieces in each of rock and sand so i think it should work out well

I think you are well on your way to a good setup. Are you going to use methylene blue on the fry. Iv heard of some people using this to help the fry survive somehow. I only wonder because it will kill off benificial bacteria so if you are planning on using it you will need another tank still seperate from this system.

Not sure why its used. I think to help guard against parasites in the early stages. Bearded Dragons? Bet those can bring in a nice profit. How often do they breed?

well this is my second time and they laid 45 eggs which was a suprise, i am trying to breed them ever 3-4 months because they need a hibernation period to recover, it normally takes upto 70 days for them to hatch, i keep them for around 3-4 months depending on size of them and once old enough and big enough they bring me £60 a baby so a good money earner if u no what ur doin and always a good idea to have buyers in advance so u no their going lol
