A school of Sunburst would be awesome but expensive... all the prices I saw, they were over $40 each!

Sure look like Squam's to me. Purple/reddish male, orange female with blue eyes and red cheeck streeks. Very, very hardy anthias.

Sunburst don't school all that well, they're more a solitary anthias which is one reason (other then their body shape) why they thought they were a hawkfish in the early days. They don't seem to fight, they just seem to choose an area where the others aren't. If you get a sunburst quick enough, feeding isn't an issue. Unfortunalty, they're higher price makes them sit at the exporters, wholesalers and LFS longer. Live food sparks their feeding and they can be easily weened of it to flake or frozen. They simply LOVE Cyclop-eeze when I feed it to them.

My LFS wants 58$ each. They're gorgeous fish though. One day I'll end up going in there and breaking down and buying one. Everytime I go in their and he's got sunbursts I have to leave the store to keep myself under control.
