i got a few new polyps today and was using the gel super glue to attach them to a rock and i accidentally got the glue on the polyp itself. This particular one has 3 polyps all attached to one stem.Is there anything i can do i tried to scrape it off but no success? Will the other 2 be sufficient for it to survive?

Should be just fine, the one with glue will possibly die, is it glued shut? Or just a little on the polyp?

I did this with a very small mushroom the other day that had detached itself from the live rock.

I tried to glue it onto a frag plug, but about a half hour later despite the glue drying, it detached itself again. I hope you have better luck than that!

cool i hope it makes it my wife picked it out and everything she picks out doesnt make it and i feel so bad.Im not sure how much the glue covered yet it hasnt opened back up.I did manage to do my bright green ones very clean and they look awesome.Oh and by the way i sent you a friend request on psn.

Jake did you get the gel type thats what i was told to use its not messy and dries up crazy fast.I dont think the hard drying type will hold in water.

I used Boston Aqua Farms reef glue. I assumed it was just coralline colored super glue. You are supposed to apply it out of water, wait until it hardens, and the put the plug+coral back into the water.

super gluing frags is a p.i.t.a!! i hope your frag will be okay, most are all amazingly more "tough" then we give them credit -- guess they look so fragile
