    Hey Everyone,

I have not been on in a while so I thought I would say hello and share a picture of a new addition. The Picture is not that great but here is a shot of my Swallowtail Angel that I picked up at my LFS. They have had it for 3 weeks and I passed on it the last time I was there. Amazing what a 10% off sale will do!! ;D Anyone have one of these?

The Japanese Swallowtail is one of my favorite reef fish. I absolutely love mine. Totally peaceful, no worries with corals.

Another, similar fish is the Watanabe Lyretail Angel from the same genus (Genicanthus). World Wide Corals has some of these in various tanks and seeing them in person is a must - pics don't do them justice. The electric blue on the Watanabe is really incredible, though I think I prefer the Japanese Swallowtail with the blue/yellow/white blend.

Thanks for the posts everyone. I'm really happy with how she looks in the tank. The colors pop nicely and the eyes on this fish just glow! It actually has two small streamers coming off it's tail as well.. More to come about the fish in general and I'll post some better pics later today.
