    Hey guys;

    Silly question. I've been pretty good about checking water params and everything else, but I've never logged it, so checking previous results was never an option.

    So, as of today, I've started logging just about everything, from light changes to water params to dosing.

    The question, how many of you are logging your info from your systems and what methods do you use to do so? Spreadsheet, notebook, specialized software?

    Thanks for indulging my curiosity. :)

    Since I dont test that often anymore I started writing my results down. My test kit manual has a spot in the back for results, so I just sick them there.

    I started loving from almost day one...i use a spread sheet that i came up with. It has all my parameters i test for plus a note section where i log additions, observations etc. I have it on my desk top so that i am reminded to check and test everything! I think that it provides reinforcement of when I'm doing things right plus I'm hoping that over time it will provide a good reference for spotting trends in my tank, etc. All that and it just seemed to me to be another part of the hobby...maybe I'm a little anal?

    I made a survey for myself using googledocs. Then I just answer the survey questions and it logs and even graphs the responses over time.

    What a simple, and elegant, idea. I think I might just do the same. Thanks! :cheesy:

    I use AquarioGest. It was a bit pricy, but I like all the bells and whistles.
