I want to add another set of T5 lighting to my current 40gallon DT. I am running two 39w bulbs and want to upgrade in the near future to support new corals. I want to stay away from MH and wanted a few opinions as to how many more bulbs I would need to support nearly any coral. I wanted to add maybe a frogspawn, anemone, and some stony corals. Im not worried about kelvin rating at the moment, just a number of bulbs to shoot for so I can modify my canopy for the future.

My Sig has a list of livestock and equipment. Thank you in advance for your help!;D

Thanks Guys. Ill take a look into your light your selling later. My only issue is that it needs to be retro fitted into my canopy. Granted I ripped apart my old nova extreme and made it into a retro fit, I was looking into a pre-made retro fitted unit. but none the less, I may do the same if the price is right;).

Would 4 bulbs do the job or should I bank more towards a 6 bulb for my DT?

I like the look of aquatic life's fixture, very neat. Bama, I have never actually owned one, but heard mixed reviews about their reflectors, what's your opinion on them?

(if you don't mind me asking)

4 bulbs should be fine for your tank with your desired corals. Don't use any pure atinic bulbs. A good set would be 2 ATI Blue Plus, 1 ATI Aquablue Special and 1 UVL Actinic White.
