T5 lighting

    The both are HO fixtures. 216 watts / 4 bulbs = 54 watts/bulb 48" T5HO are 54 watts each.

    I'd wait a little longer if you can, so you can save up to get the AquaticLife fixture. When it comes to lights, get the BEST you can possibly afford.

    I vote for the AquaticLife fixture also. I've had several fixtures but the AquaticLife is awesome.

    check out this thread/poll a ways back we were voting on the best T5 brands. As many have said, buy the BEST you can afford. You will regret if you buy a cheaper fixture then want to upgrade in a few months, if you can't afford a really nice fixture then save up a little more if you can. I have my 1st baby on the way, saved lots of $ by getting things from friends.
