    Any idea how much area I can cover with a 48" 8 bulb t5 fixture?
    Im trying to have enough lighting for a 48x48 tank

    If you are doing SPS you will need at least another 6 bulb fixture if the tank is 24" deep. If it is 12" another 4 bulb fixture should work.
