Ok, I'll look past the glaring grammar issues to help you out!:) All kidding aside if you are just going to have a FOWLR set up they will be fine.... Heck if you want some low light mushrooms or something they will also suffice... Anything more light dependent I would use 4 lamps...

Funny thing is, I am a terrible speller! :)

I gotcha... darn texting! :) I would opt with 4 lamps but the 2 should be fine with some mushies and maybe some zoos alittle higher up.. Many people think zoos are low light coral but they will grow much faster and will not stretch for the light if the intensity is stronger.

    lol so true.

if you really want to make this a good tank money will be spent, your money, your parents money (haha im good at that), someone elses money. but there will be some form of transaction going on. salt is much more expensive than any other tank i have ever kept but it is well worth it.

what i would do is get your water in the tank and let cycle. fishless cycle would probably be the best way considering it is the most humane and it gives you a little more stability. but once you get this tank cycling and you have your filtration, a powerhead, your liverock, all of that stuff set, then i would get your lights. this gives you plenty of time for you cycling and should end up with better results.

as far as the actual lighting goes craigslist some lighting systems. that is a great way to get a deal. i bought my light for my twenty off of ebay. it was just over 100 dollars new. i have an Odyssea pc lighting set up and it has worked well for me. upgrading bulbs down the road would be a good idea, but worry about the system before the bulbs!
    hope this helps.-norg.
