tang with bacterial infection!?!!

    I noticed that my blue tang has been developing a white hole on one side of its body directly behind it's fin. The hole looks like it has gotten much deeper just in the past day. Unfortunately i would never be able to get a clear picture because it is right behind his fin which he is now keeping clamped down, but is this white hole a bacterial infection??

    i've seen them get patches in their skin from malnutrition.

    so this one's an actual hole?

    yeah i can tell that it is deeper than a patch, its almost like an open sore behind his fin.
