So this is normal? To come back after using the magnet cleaner then an hour later having it return?

Yeah it is. You'll see some come back pretty quick. I usually let it build up over a couple days for my own convenience. Or when I want to take pictures, I'll clean then too.

Also, it looks like you might not have much flow in your tank... it will slightly help if you had a lot of flow... but it's still normal.

I have ok flow. I have a Kora 1 and my stock pump in the nano. Is that not enough? Things fly around in there really well. Toadstool is happy..

I only have 2 fish. So I must be over feeding. I feed alot more than that... I will have to cut back.

Do you use ro/di water and is the tank near a window where it can get direct sunlight? if your using tap water over feeding or getting direct sunlight these are all things that can cause it. I clean my glass about 1 time a week in the 220.

I have a ro/di unit so use that. Not by a window so my only guess is the first water i used was not the best or the food. I only use ro/di water now.

That build up is normal have no fear. I would save yourself some heart ache and just set a schecual where you clean once a day or less and let it ride.

other things that may have a helpin hand or might not is a good clean up crew for left over foods.. My spellin my be off here so bear with me.. get a handful of nasirus snails. and or brittle star fish.. they help in eathin the left over foods that the fish may not eat.
The snails i am talkin about burry themselves in the sand and come out at night or during feeding time...
    Oh and once again.....

    Good Luck....
