    Tank doesn't ship with water in it ;)... no pressure holding it against the energy of the bat strike. Or against the clumsy shipper dude.



    Just read through the thread. Sucks, but is kind of awesome in the long run.

    I need to give my LFS another call. I'm hoping that it will be here before the end of next week. In the mean time, my hood was delivered and I picked up another 300+ lbs of Pukani from BRS to go with the 160 lbs I already had. All of this is dry rock of course.

    Thanks for your feedback here. For clarification, would you guys recommend 100% dry rock for the tank and only add coral frags or go with mostly dry rock and them add maybe the last 10% as live rock?

    Wow cant wait to see pics. This is one of the largest if not the largest build threads in my time on 3reef anyway.
    I would get some live rock just to seed your rock with coralline etc. Just mostly dry base like what you are doing now.
