Any updates on the delivery? We were in FW last night and I know that you were anxiously waiting.....

Also, I think having the smaller tanks is a great way to introduce the kids to your hobby and learn the right way of taking care of our little slice of the ocean.

still no tank I cannot believe how frustrating this is. my schedule is crazy for the next week anyway so I am going to try reciting the serenity prayer like 1000 times then regroup and try to plan for delivery next weekend.

I am so sorry to hear that you are delayed again! I think this might be taking the mantra "go slow with this hobby" too far.....Let us know if you need any help or anything!

Finally here!!! the tank arrived in Richmond last week while I was on vacation in Myrtle Beach. The tank was too big to fit throught the doods at my LFS so the owner spent several days riding around town with it in the back of his full size pick-up truck. He said that his gas mileage was really taking a big hit. Oh, and he bent the front of the truck bed when he had to slam on the breaks and the tank slid forward. Between getting the tank off the truck, into the house, cutting the appropriate holes in the stand and positioning the tank, it only took us 2 1/2 hours.

It is pretty impressive that the tank could slide and damage the truck but not have the tank impacted at all. Nice packing job.
