actually I have a Koi pond and my fish just did the dirty and I had thousands of eggs for a couple days..now just fry everywhere.

Very satisfying, beautiful fish and low maintenance.

Will there be a turtle in your koi pond, Linda? :D

We sell these things in the gift shop at the aquarium I work at. They live for 6-9 months. 20 bucks for some special shrimp. Triops.com – Home of Triassic Triops’ Dinosaur Shrimp. We sold them at HobbyTown when I worked there, as well. My coworker Ed and I had a display setup with some we were raising, then a jerk decided to spray air freshener over it. Shrimpies died. :(

I got an idea! Anyone want to trade my tank for a massive amt of oil painting supplies? Or even trade my 135 tank for a smaller dare I say nano? hmmmm after telling him that I was selling it to keep the peace, he was like no, you sell it because you want to not because I complain all the time. I told him I wouldn't sell it if he would quit complaining and nothing more was said........

    stand by readers..............

more to follow by the day.......

Anyway around it, keep me in the video contest(just incase I don't sell the tank)! That would be THE BEST peice of eq I would own. If I happened to win(by some miracle) and had already sold my 135, I'd give it to 2nd place.

You have already been disqualified. I notified the mods of this the second this thread went up :p

Man, that sucks you want to trade for something smaller and live so far away  I would have done that very quickly if it had been before I got my 200, as my 40 is also going to be for sale here pretty soon.

we actually have a hole in the ground that used to be a koi pond, back in the 40's,..we filled it up with broken pcs of concrete and bricks and make it into a burn pit.

pray for a change of heart and to gain some patients. that is what is most needed...Thanks chris.

anyone ever heard of having an outdoor tank? hmmmm we have this building out back that if it was put in the wall out there, he wouldn't have to hear it, see it, smell it. anything. Anyone ever do that? Like protective glass from the cold/heat on the side of the tank that would be in the wall facing outside. so where you could sit in the back yard and look at it during spring, summer, fall even winter and it would not feel the temp changes....

his main complaint is that he totally worries all the time that the tank will leak and flood the living room, that we've just remodeled. I understand his point of view too, not agree, just understand it. We're working on a compromise, so stay tuned.
