    krylon works great, i tried a really light aqua blue, looks awesome on my softy tank!!! anyone ever though about painting your tank "coraline" color? less to scrape off, blends right in!!

    No the (4) are drains on the back of tank ' theres.. 2 input' one on each side,
    and thats when it was first put in , i also have a spray bar now attached to the back of the wall now pointed towards the back of the tank , will have to update and show you guys.

    For what its worth then you really need to bild a east west overflow or you will never keep the waters surface clean.. I have seen bulkheads used like this and everytime there is always a skim on the waters surface. Just take acrylic and make a 4x5 L and silicone it along the back so tnat you can skim of the top inch or so of water . When bulkhead are used like this they will also air lock and gulp and gurggle and you won't get near as much drainage as they can't vent themselves .. To be blunt what you are going to try and do is a bad idea.

    You'll notice in these pics , look to right and left side of tank , those are input from main pump at sump 1400 gph. , then i have a spray bar with 2 heads on it each having its own 800 gph x2. ( it's attached to the wall behind the lights )
    then the fuge gets its feed off one of the left main line "low flow" then on back to the sump.
    then i have 3 no#4' korrala water jets inside tank
