I'm looking for a good looking yet effective CUC for my 5 gal eco pico. Specific suggestions are ideal. Also, what kind of frags do you think would work well?

    Hi Andrew

I moved this out of the ASAP forum, which is for emergencies, people with problems with livestock or equipment etc

Im not familiar with Eco Pico
what type of lighting does it have? as frag suggestions can be based on that

Frags depend on lighting, without that info we cannot help you.
As for CUC, contact John Maloney at ReefCleaners.org | Clean Up Crews and Macro Algae - Home, he'll set up a custom crew for you.
I'd do 3 Astrea snails, 3 Ceriths and a Nassarius
    OR
5 Scarlet Reef Hermits and a Nassarius

EcoPico is built by ecoxotic, the stock version has 3 1W LEDs.
    Andrew:
I would start out with some zoanthids, nicest beginner coral IMO. Then move up to some easy LPS like trumpet corals. Although you might need to buy more of the pico strips or pico arms.

    Thanks thepanfish
just Googled it to get more ideas

agreed on Zoanthids, seen a few nice images on the www whilst googling of set ups
with what seems to be stock lighting = 3 x 1 watt LEDS on a single arm
other corals that seem to do well in similar lighting conditions IME are

    Yellow Polyps
    Clove Polyps #
    Anthellia #
    GSP #
    Shrooms
    Kenya Trees #

some of the above marked # can become quite invasive, taking over the tank if not pruned, fragged or in some cases isolated from other surfaces to spread over ( so GSP on a small rock on the sand, and trimming the mantle as it spreads for example)
