i have the feeding lid completely open right now since i am keeping an eye on the tank.

Can i purchase a sump at a LFS? I'm not too good at making stuff lol.

Also where would i put a sump?

(NEITHER AM I) LOL!!!! I don't know without seeing your stand... I'm pretty new myself, I actually paid someone to do my plumbing... You would pay out the rear at a lfs.... You could use a 5 or 10 gallon tank....

 

i can pretty much explain my setup camera is broken

Its on a wood stand without a cabinet underneath and i dont see anywhere i can put a sump

 

You might have to do a different stand.. Have you checked out nano tuners .com.. they have fan upgrades and different head shields...... What is your water level at?????

You mean stand??? Drop the water volume and slide it onto the other stand.... That's what I did....
