    no not the shirts..lol
    i looking for some kind of top for over my tank, but wont take away from the lighting. any ideas? i thought about getting a piece of glass cut to fit or making a small screen out of a window screen. what does everyone else use?

    I've always used a glass cover or full hood on all my tanks. Provides for less evaporation along with keeping fish in. Just make sure it's not airtight and keep it clean.

    This is sort of what I was thinking but some fiberglass netting from the hardware store, just wasn't sure if the screen frame would lay down right. I know they don't stay on windows to well!

    I'm doing this now as we speak. Very easy to do and looks great. But mine is harder due to having a bowfront I've had to get creative with the bending of the bow part. It doesn't block nearly as much light as I had thought it would. Good luck

    Let me know how it goes, i also have a bowfront. Areyou using the brs kit? Or just mesh from the hardware store?
